A really rubbish picture but Luna's first best pal was an American newfie called Merlin! She is 8months old in this pic (on the right) and pretty much full size and weight! He would hoon off into the wood thickets out of sight, my good little girl would spin his run around to come back to us!!

They would roll around on the floor having great fun - she looked like she'd had a bath after a meet up! Laughing

We used to see the newfie's practicing their water rescue skills at a lake where I used to take coal. A sight to see!

Not sure why a Newfie would need a rain coat tho Shocked

Think he only had the raincoat to protect the owners home from a good soaking when they get in.I see lots of dogs wearing coats and the owners have all said "its to keep him clean" or "so he doesnt shake all over".Personally i would never put a coat Ted and he gets wet and muddy as do i but i dont care.personal choice i suppose Very Happy
