Not so very long ago, my boy was in a very bad way and mostly looked like this...
After several months of hard work by me, our lovely vets and hefty medication, Bran finally got an update yesterday that I am happy to share He is now weighing in at 26.3kgs, has a lovely soft, shiny coat and seems to be stable. Well. As far as his IBD goes. We'll not talk about his ED Anyway. Today he looks like this:
I know that you have all been kind enough to think good things about Bran and have posted kind words and support here or on Facebook and I am so incredibly grateful for all of it - it really has made the world of difference
There have also been a few very special people who have been at the end of the phone/pc for me when things have been far too tough for me to post anything publicly and I imagine some of them will have a few happy tears when they see those photos, because they care so much about me and my boy. You all know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking with us
I know that there are more "downs" to come, but for now I'm coasting this "up" and making the most of every second!

My God, the show people are going to have a field day with that first photo
And to me, he's looking rather chubby in that one I'm finding it hard to believe that I'm getting photos like this of him as I'm so used to being able to count his ribs in them, but you can almost not see his spine now and my hand can't cover the width of his waist

I know, it's amazing the difference from when I saw him just 4 weeks ago
