Hope the visit goes ok. I agree to stay calm and polite no matter how upset you must be about the complaint.

I'd have some really tasty treats ready so that you can get Charlie to sit/down/behave generally and hopefully he'll feel less concerned about the warden coming in.

Mine are very welcoming to people invited in, after they have had a good bark at the door, but 4+ dogs can be a bit overwhelming in greeting, so I sometimes bring through some tuna cake and get them to sit for a treat. It helps them to calm down a little before they get on with greeting our visitor(s) Smile

Good Luck with the Warden, I imagine your stress levels are up just at the thought of it, so definately have a door between you when he/she comes.

Try very hard to reduce the stress you are feeling [understandable, but will transfer to Charlie if you are worried]] ask the warden to please ignore Charlie when you take him through to see him, and explain this is part of your training.

Also as been said already, try to be calm and polite, if he has any dog knowledge it will be absolutely fine.

Another thought, it maybe a good idea if you were able to deal with this on your own, as sometimes it is easy for more than one person to talk over each other, and the idea is to make the meeting low key for Charlie, if you get my gist.

Thinking about you, and try not to worry [deep breaths].

June
