I saw a cardiologist a couple of months ago and everything was fine  She wanted to review me in three years time.
Today a hospital appointment to see the cardiologist arrived and it is for 26 Sep 2014. I totally thought it was a mistake so I rang them up. It was confirmed that the appointment was correct and the consultant had requested that the letters be sent out.
What on earth am I meant to do with it to remind me to go. 2014 calendars are not out yet, I am likely to have a new phone by then. I am quite organised so I know where to put it to remind me but I know an awful lot of people who arn't.
I think it is barking  Can you imagine how many people will not turn up for their appointments, especially the elderly who may have trouble remembering things
The world had gone mad

How ridiculous!, not only elderly people who may forget, others may well not still be with us sadly.
I have enough trouble remembering appointments that are only a matter of weeks, years is taking it too far

Well i for one wouldnt remember thats for sure, Cody was given an appointment for in 12mth and thats bad enough. I dont know where his card is with the date ect, but i do know its in Aug. Funnily enough though I remembered the childrens consultant at for their gean testing said he will see them in 3yr and I some how remembered that and called them up as the 3yr was nearly up just to check they hadnt forgot us HAHA

They'll likely send you out a letter nearer the time! Anything could happen between now and then... the consultant could move jobs or drop dead! *LOL*
