You may have read on my other post that I am finding Burns too expensive at the moment and so I am looking for a food that is just as good but with a lower price tag. It may be impossible and iif so I will stick with Burns.
The problem I am having with my research is that there are a lot of BUAV approved foods out there but a lot of them contain chicken even if chicken is not the main ingredient there seems to be chicken/poultry fat/oil in a lot of these foods.
Unfortunately Majic cannot have any chicken products as it makes her quite poorly and I really don't want to give her something which has even the smallest amount of chicken in.
Can anybody help with this please?

I just had a look on my Arden Grange lamb and rice pack for you,but that has chicken fat in it I know JWb do a good range for sensitive tummys but they are expensive so that wouldn't help sorry I do hope you find something

They also test on animals, and are owned by one of the "big guys" - which I am guessing from the title of the thread you are trying to avoid?
Have just checked the Original NatureDiet, but it does include Chicken - may be worth checking the Lamb & Rice one. I know ND do a version for sensitive feed, but it is also more expensive than the standard range (and smells absolutely foul ),
Have you considered feeding raw? Tripe / Beef / Fish / Rabbit / Lamb
All have no additives and are therefore as natural as they come - if you buy in bulk (you would need freezer space) this would help keep the price down
Ok had a look at the BARF website but lost with what I would need how much I would need and how I go about feeding it.
Just noticed Natures Menu from that site also don't know if they test on animals, help anyone?
Naturediet dosn't contain chicken in there non chicken products which is good, I have just got blinkered to using dry so need to widen my choice as ND looks good just need to find ordinary mixer or can I put pasta/rice with it?

I cook our BARF and mix it with rice or pasta but not sure if they need any supliments with it if you were going to feed it full time though,so watching this thread with interest.
From what I've read though its best to introduce BARF slowly as not to upset tummies that aren't used to raw foods
