Thank you Kate. Honesty is what I'm after, and I know it's difficult to see from a photo. but it's harder for me to be unbiased.
That's a good tip with portioning out his meals, it makes sense.
We went to the beach with him and grant (who is also on this site with his dog maisy) and cooper went into the sea, but kept his feet firmly on the ground, whereas maisy was swimming like a dream.
We do have a hydrotherapy centre here actually, so I might give it a go with him. I think he'd love it. Or else I may have to brave the cold and swim in the sea with him
If I cut down his food anymore, could I do him harm? I mean he isnt going to waste away over night, but not feeding him enough, will that have any effects on anymore growing he needs to do or make him Ill or anything?
