Well its been 3 and half days since this gorgeous girly came to join us, and it feels like she has been here forever .
It is amazing how confident she is considering it is less than 2 weeks since she left the PF, and had her spay. Fortunately her stay with Joelle reduced some of her fears and she is daily overcoming others, so spends very little time in her safe haven the crate .
She is already managing and enjoying her walks on the Downs and wanting to greet people and their dogs, if she was'nt on a long line she would be gone in a flash [so line will stay on for sometime till we are sure of her recall].
Bruno is doing a good job protecting her when she is saying hello to strange dogs, and when he thinks they have been sniffing for too long gives a woof to warn them time is up so b****r off .
I think she will be a ball retriever as she is taking off when we do the chucker for Mischa, but can't quite get to it before the champ, she does bring it back and drop it for Suzie though and Suzie has a little play before giving it for another throw.
On our walk yesterday she surprised me when a man came up to get his 2 Yorkies, they are friendly little bundles who say hello to us most days, I was unsure if it would unsettle her as she is not comfortable with strange men [wise girl], but she went straight to him and was nudging him for a fuss, and very waggy, the treats in his pocket may have had something to do with it, but who cares it is another step in the right direction, so very pleased.
Ahhhh how lovely, and lucky lucky Suzie to be getting the love and care she has missed for so long.
It must be so rewarding for you too to see her coming on so well and quickly in the scheme of things as well.
They all look so happy together as if it has always been that way, well done

That's such a lovely update you've made my day I think she sounds adorable and she's obviously fitted in so well with Bruno and Mischa they're fab taking so much care of her too. I love the photos.
Isn't it amazing how welcoming your boys have been.
You must have had a real intuition about Suzie and how she would fit into your clan. Very generous of you and lovely for us to see a happy ending for at least one lost and lonely girl.
