7 weeks sounds like a long time. Archie had to have no exercise for the first couple of days, then short (10 - 15 mins), on-lead walks for the next week. Then, 10 days after the operation, he had his stitches out and could go back to normal exercise.

Blimey - I am glad I only have 10-14 days to worry about with Ellie - she too has dissolving stitches. It was bad enough when she was confined to the house for a month when she was in season.

Hope your little fella is still improving and not causing too much trouble.

Hes not to bad tonight, he got upstairs for the 1st time since coming home hes just looked at the stairs and walked away or sat and waited for who ever to come down, but i must of forgot to close the gate and the next thing i know I have a wet nose saying hello LOL, I walked him back down slowly and hes not tried it since, or should i say not had the chance to try again.

I have promised him aslong as hes feeling better in the morning then he can go for a little walk.
