I get Canine Alert Chicken & Brown Rice from my local independent pet shop for £38 a sack. (Most can order it in for you and often at a lower price than the major sellers)
The Alert variety is good value for money because you are getting almost the same as the normal Chicken/Lamb & Brown Rice but with a few extra supplements that are supposed to help concentration
We had no problems swapping from normal to Alert. I was, however, a little concerned by the smell - I'm not sure if it is the fish oil or green tea but it smells different to their normal food and I wasn't really prepared for that (I ended up sending a sample back for testing and they sent me some samples to sniff ).
I really don't see the point in paying £43+ for standard food when I can get Alert for £38. Lamb Alert is £40.41 on the Burns web site for 15kg.
