I have just been looking at price comparisons for Burns Lamb & Brown Rice, it seems ZOOPLUS are doing it for £78.99 for 2 15kg bags [free delivery].
I do really like to support my local pet shop but that is a saving of over £20 for me, the only problem is are they reliable with delivery's, and does anyone know what company they use for delivering [my place is hard to find and need to be able to give directions, not always possible with some company's].
I ordered some bits and pieces for the cats ages ago. Zooplus themselves were good but they sent the order through DHL and they made a mess of the delivery. Basically, they delivered it to the wrong house as they assumed all of the parcels were for this other person and then they had to go and get it back. I then ended up picking it up from their depot which is about 12 miles away from where I live. It was a complete farce but I'm sure this was probably an isolated incident.
If they remove they ever remove the multi-pack deal from the Zooplus website then Pet Planet seem to be doing it for the same price per individual bag. I buy all of my pet food off them and have never had any problems with them or the delivery company.
Yes I do from zooplus.fr Its a really good deal for me, the more I order the bigger the discount and free delivery! My only concern was my 4 sacks came in 2 deliveries which threw me but it all arrived safely and within about 48 hours of order.
I use Zooplus all the time for the cats. They're now offering a choice of delivery companies: DHL or Yodel. I've never had good service from Yodel so always opt for the other - parcels arrive quickly and safely, without a delivery man tramping around your house uninvited!
Berriewood Wholesale are a couple of pounds cheaper - two bags of lamb and rice are about £76 plus free delivery AND they use DPD who give you an hours window for delivery. Luuurve DPD for that reason!!
If you go for the lamb and rice alert thats even cheaper at £73 for two bags!
Thanks Rachandmurph, I am at this moment looking at the Lamb and Rice Alert. We have been on the Lamb and Brown Rice till now, can You tell me what the difference is between the two other than VAT [I hate change just for the sake of it].
I went into my pet shop supplier today and asked him about the difference of working alert, he seemed to think not much and would not be a problem with change, he can get it for me for £40 per 15 kg, not bad for small shop, what do you think.
I have used GJW Titmuss quite a few times and found their delivery to be really good - and quick. Didn't have so much luck with zooplus when I tried to order Naturediet ages ago, as they had it on special offer and then cancelled the order days later and left me without food, so I haven't used them since!
I got my Orijen from Zooplus and they were great no problem and I ordered it with my card and address but got it delivered to my mams plus they give you a few freebies when you first join we got a treat bag and some treats and a little taster bag of a dog food.

I have only recently started ordering my food online (Burns Lamb & Rice) and at the time, I found the cheapest place was Netpetshop. They do a 15kg bag for £40 with free delivery.
I have found their service to be very good with prompt delivery (within 48 hours of order). I normally order a couple of other things and recently they didn't have one of the items in stock, but reimbursed me immediately and apologised.

The only difference with the lamb Alert is that it has fish oil, grapeseed extract and green tea extract added that are supposed to make the dog more alert but without the excess energy that a traditional working dog food would give - the Alert is targeted at working dogs who are not on the go all the time but need to be alert when needed - e.g assistance dogs, police dogs etc. If you look at the packaging it has higher levels of Vit A which is probably from the fish oils.
I have fed both and have noticed no difference in activity levels - however I have noticed on the Alert version that Amber is much more focused at agility so I stick with it!
