Well done Tucker and Luna, Tucker is taking to agility, like a duck to water, what a star in the making.
I've just pm'd you to see how you got on and then spotted this, sorry i couldn't make it today. Toby's presence may have put Tucker off anyway.
Take Care.
Gary and Toby.
Tucker is coming on in leaps and bounds Sophie (no pun intended!), he is so loving pleasing you with what he`s doing, looking forward to seeing him when he starts competition!
Good to hear Luna had a gentle go at it to, I bet that made her happy
His jumping technique on the bit where you did a mini course is a bit like Diggers do a jump go back and check mum's still there/is ok then go back and do the next jump then go back and check I'm doing it right and then onto the next jump back to mum wooo look at me aren't I clever then what oo another jump ok yay this is fun tunnel!!
He's doing really well! Hopefully a friend is coming to watch me and Digs sometime in the next couple of weeks so I'll have to get her to video our attempts!
I was just nipping off to bed ! then this "must see" cropped up!!!
I love to see the bond between you and your Labs'..such a lot of training involved in there I'm sure.
Beautifully put together film from Laura yet again !!

You could try using a single handed 'gundog' sendaway over your jumps perhaps? Then you are training for both agility and gundog work!!!
Definitely! I was having to firmly plant myself until he moved because I wanted to get him used to running down alongside him but he would sense that and come with me around the jump!!
I have to say that unless Luna was doing a fly ball run I haven't used a sendaway on an agility course, lots of recall over jumps but this was giving him the confidence to run on ahead and separate himself from checking in on me as Lauren says. Luna very rarely checked in on me - she naturally prefers to be at a distance but Tucker is a close boy so this is a new challenge for me!
HOLLY is doing great! lol Tucker had the trainer lower the see-saw for him at the pivot point just to prevent him from flying off!! And the weaves I am at as he is at the point Luna was after about 2years of training! He naturally loves the movement
And Luna was a happy girl She has lost no speed so will fly over the veteran courses! She won't be doing much training just a little reminder here and there to ensure she still follows commands so she is safe in comps. She won't be jumping in training either and if there is any sign that she doesn't want to in comps we'll be out of the ring! 9inch jumps she can step over though!!!
