Last weekend I saw 'Gayle' on the Labrador Rescue South East & Central website - she was described as being about 8, possibly a LabX and with a bad flea allergy. She had been in kennels after being picked up as a stray.

As you'll know, I've had a few dogs with skin problems so I got in touch with Alison and offered a foster place for Gayle. Today, Wiggle and I drove up to Appledown Kennels to meet her.

I'm not keen on the name Gayle, (sorry to any Gayle's out there!) and with most new or foster dogs, they get a new name with their new start, so please let me introduce Bella Very Happy

Meeting Sir H:

Despite the lack of fur, that tail goes like the clappers!

First walk with Wiggle:

After coming home and having a Malaseb bath, Bella checked her girly bits were all in order and shows off her baldyness:

As she was still a bit damp when we had our evening walk, Bella borrowed Wiggle's fleece & kept it on when she went to bed:

And is still wearing it, on the sofa, making herself at home

Bella is now fast asleep, twitching her little feet in her sleep...

What a lovely girl Bella is and how quickly she's settled in! No doubt she'll follow Wiggle's example and blossom in your care.
