Hope it's ok to post on this thread for the Oldies Club?

http://www.oldies.org.uk

We are always looking for new foster homes - in part because quite a few of our previous foster homes "fail" and end up adopting the dog we have asked them to foster Very Happy Though fortunately some are able to continue fostering even then.

We assess each potential foster home and dog on its own merits so we have had foster homes with young children, other dogs, other animals (cats, chickens, rabbits etc), people who work, don't have their own transport (although you would need to be able to get the dog to the vet) etc.

Foster homes without other dogs are also sought.

If you are interested in fostering for the Oldies Club, PM me with some info, location details etc. and an email contact address and (landline tel no if possible) and I will forward your details to our foster coordinator (she is always very busy so please bear with her when it comes to replies).

We are a general rescue so help dogs of all sorts of breeds, crossbreeds and sizes but have had Labs and lab crosses in the past Smile

Is it only labs that you are interested in fostering or would you look at other breeds/crosses too? I know of a rescue in the Glos area, I can check with them if they use foster homes and have a child age limit but they are general rescue.

Are you just looking to foster labs? Or would you consider older dogs (aged 7 upwards) of any breed? If you would, I can put you in touch with Oldies Club's foster coordinator Smile We do have labs and lab crosses come in for rehoming but take all sorts.
