Thank you for all the advice!! I did some of it in the microwave - the smell was indeed horrendous, to the point it made me gag so much I had to put the cooked liver outside to cool down
They had the rest raw with their dinner (Stella only had a little, but wolfed it down and then checked Eddie's bowl for more ) - it went down a treat!!

I used to use it as training treats. I'd slice it then boil it (smells awful!) then chop into small pieces and bag into day's-worth portions and freeze. I would do the same with chicken or turkey too.
My two seemed to work better for 'higher value' treats. Cheap to buy and healthy if you can stand the smell of preparing it!!
