I managed to get a very short clip this afternoon of Shadow going back up the stairs. For some reason, Shadow never tries to turn around on the stairs, but reverses up them Rolling Eyes Laughing

The video isn't particularly good, but the best I could get Smile



Are there any other labs out their with this strange behaviour?

haha brilliant. You know the sniffer dogs they use in afghan they train them to go along a cleared path to the explosive and then once they have signalled the explosive they train them to walk back in the exact footsteps they walked going towards it!!!! So a very clever dog!!!
