So Mils has been away and not seen her sisters for nearly three weeks, and after the last experience with Soph being her usual asbo we weren't expecting it to go smoothly.

Bt, we've re-introduced them and it's all very strange Sad On the plus side, Soph didn't dive across the room and go for Millie but she tried a little growl.

But Mils doesn't want to know, Penny was soo pleased to see her and was all kisses and Mils was frightened and hiding behind OH's legs Sad

I'm sure it's all strange for her and she has been having some challenges re-adjusting, yesterday she seemed to have lost all of her housetraining (understandable as she's been in a kennel for three weeks), but just everyday things like opening the dishwasher door and the hoover are really freaking her out, poor girlie Sad

So, Mils is in the lounge clinging to OH and the other two are in the kitchen with me.

I'm sure they'll settle in time but it's really sad, they were all the best of pals before Mils got poorly.

Thats a shame Jayne, give them time though after all Mils was only home less than 24 hours before she disappeared again, Sophie won`t understand and Mils has effectively been on her own for three weeks.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that Jayne Group Huuug! I'm sure as Millie gets stronger and more confident, things will settle down back to normal.

Sending lots of love and vibes to you all.

oh dear poor Millie she must be feeling a bit overawedand confused as you say I hope a few quiet days at home and she'll start feeling more 'normal', I know when little Sam had to stay in the Vet hospital for just a couple of days he was so scared of things when he came back he suddenly started being afraid of noises he'd never worried about before but in a few weeks he settled back to being ok with most things. At least you know Poppy was relieved to see her perhaps when she's certain she feels fine in herself Millie will appreciate the attention. I hope so. As for asbo Sophie she sounds like she was being quite calm really she didn't go and bounce on her or anything, ok the growl wasn't good but perhaps Millie smells of the hospital and that scares Sophie? I'm sure I read someone else on the forum had something similar when one of their two was hospitalised and the other not then when he came home they had trouble between them but as far as I know it settled down and they are best friends again. I know you love your girls and they love you and each other so hopefully things will be back to normal for you all really soon. Give them all a cuddle from me.

I would imagine that Mils is trying to give off 'I'm not quite well' signals as she's not feeling as strong as she used to. Luna definitely appeared to be giving off 'keep clear and I don't want you near me' body language to not just Tucker but me too at times after her op. She has as time has gone on turned into the Big sis Tucker had forgotten she was Laughing and can be found annoying him as much as he annoys her with toys and bouncy attention. She is seeking cuddles and snuggles from me more and more too.

For a week after Luna's op I kept Luna and Tucker apart - one in the crate, one out and then for another couple of weeks they were only in the same room when tired and sleepy and settled so that Luna got the space she needed.

Tucker would try to give her licks and nuzzles through the crate bars bless him!

I am sure that as your Mils regains her strength she will feel able to reunite herself with her sisters xx

Do you have any Rescue Remedy to hand? If she were mine, I'd give her a little of that, along with a few other things.

Hope all settles down soon Group Huuug!

Millie has been through a horrendous and scary ordeal and is now readjusting again. Dogs are so perceptive and it my be that the other girls sense a difference. It is early days and I am certain this will improve, hopefully soon as she gets stronger, and smells more like her sisters than the vets. It must be upsetting for you too but this has been tough on you too, little at a time and anything above that is a bonus.
Sending healing vibes and cuddles for you all Group Huuug!
