Hi,
It's back - and hopefully will be bigger than ever! The Chicksgrove Charity Gundog Training Day is booked for Sat 28th July 2012. As always, we hope to provide a day that consists of a morning training for all levels of gundogs from total beginners/puppies through to competing gundogs, followed by an afternoon of 'fun-tests', a b.b.q, the 'Its-so-good-it's-almost-wrong' Mega Raffle, and much laughter and high-jinx!
Please save-the-date in your diaries, and let us know of any interest. We shall be approaching the wonderful trainers who have helped out in the past, in due course. For those who haven't yet experienced a Chicksgrove Charity Gundog Training Day, this will be it's 4th year and it takes place in South Wiltshire. Many LF members choose to make a weekend of it as there are many dog-friendly places to stay, eat and most importantly, drink!!!

UPDATE - Date confirmed! Also 4 fabulous trainers booked - many thanks to Di Stevens, Allan Scutcher, Ian Tayfordwood and Andy (Funky-Monkey) for agreeing to knock us all into shape!!!
More information regarding costs, places to stay etc in due course.

I fancied coming along to this but I have got tickets to the Olympics on that day. I wouldn't care but I applied for over £1k of tickets and they were the only ones I got. Typical!
I was really hoping to make it with Bran this year, but it looks as if he'll be just post-op by then If it turns out that his ops are going to be later in the summer, then I'll see if we can come along for the fun and games even if we've missed the actual gundoggery

NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... you cant have that date, you ALWAYS do the 2nd weekend in Aug which is what I've booked off in preparedness (11th and 12th) ......
Panic over..... We CAN do that date.... pheeewwwww!!!

If you want me to apply to bring the company trailer and maybe some of the dogs just let me know. They love doing these type of shows and handing out freebies.
