All you have to do is dangle their little feet into a bowl of warm water and use a baby toothbrush or something. Same as round their leg ring, it needs to be kept clean.
Because the eggs hatch every other day, sometimes the tiniest ones dont get fed. It also depends on if you are just feeding the parents seed, sometimes the seed gets stuck in their crops. Are you feeding soaked eggfood too?
