Jane, The best way to deal with this is to demand a Little Gorgeous Man that does, to do the hoovering whilst you sit back and watch closely. I feel sure with that idea in mind your OH will be a little bit quieter. Or maybe cut out the middleman and just get him to do it - No more probs- A perfect quiet life!

Miele Cat and Dog is the BEST....FANTASTIC for dog hairs and mine has been going for 16 years without a problem. I hope you get it sorted ...but don't give up on the model...
