cant believe this!!!!!

When we had Indi i worked 11 hour days luckily adam only worked 6 hour days at that point at the most and even then we had a puppy sitter to come in 3 or 4 times a day whilst we were out to let Indi out, to feed her, walk her, play with her, bring in other dogs to socialise her. She had toys and a crate in the kitchen and was well loved. Im sorry but 8 hours alone I wouldnt even do that now to Indi who is nearly 2!!!! She is in her crate no longer than 3-4 hours during the day and if i get stuck somewhere I get my neighbour to pop in for me to let her out, give her some fuss etc. Even when I did my back in I had a dog sitter come walk her for me so she could have the right treatment. The welfare of this animal at the min is appalling. I cant believe you think that is "spoiling the dog rotten" I agree with the others either get a puppy sitter to come in, rehome them or take them back to the breeder and explain your situation! No dog should be left outside alone. Like the others the first thought that came into my head was the poor pup getting stolen! There have been a real spate of dog snatchings etc and also if the pup gets bored what will stop them digging a hole under the fence and escaping? Indi occasionally digs holes and thats when Im home - its usually because she has been told off or recently because he dad went away and she was annoyed at that. I would never for a minute consider leaving her outside all day alone and unattended - i know there is a possibility she could be lifted over the fence or even dig her way under and run off, Not for 1 minute! You want to know what a spoilt dog who is really loved look likes you should come to my home!!!!!She is spoilt but well loved and everyone on here loves their labs and will no doubt do anything including not eating so their pups/dogs can have what they need! I hope this person seriously considers the options as it really isnt right! I would have called the RSPCA by now if I was their neighbour!

A pup is for life!!! When you got this pup you knew they are hard work, no doubt the breeder told you the first year is the most important for their development and socialisation! If you want a good dog as an adult you have to put in the work in the first year because if you dont then they wont grow up well! Indi has had 2 years of strict routine, structure and training and we are now reaping the rewards of our hard work!!!

Sorry but im appalled if this is a joke then its a very sick one!!! Im going to get off my soap box now!!!!
