Well life as we know it ends on Monday with the arrival of our little Mac. One of Jackie Kay's adorable Bramblekay pups. He will join us, a 12 year old human child :0) an occasional 18 year old child/wilderbeast, two Siamese, an elderly rabbit and a spider named Brian (who has lived on the ceiling for ages and who we have all grown very fond of!!)
I lost my last lab at the beginning of 2012 and have given myself a year to get my head round starting again... Bit like having a baby! We are both Police Officers and are in the enviable position that my partner is able to take the dog into work everyday, and I am at the tail end of recovering from an op so am home for the first precious, pre jab days :0)
Any advice or local people willing to let their older labs socialise woth the new kid on the block would be fab :0)
Hi,At least you know what youre letting yourself in for ,only kidding, have fun and enjoy him and feel free to post some cute pics of your little man.Im not local to you just wanted to say hello xx
Well Gd luck with Little Mac and the inevitable chaos especially until child and wildebeast remember to keep their precious things out of reach.- There may well be a fair bit of I told you so going on BUT it will all be well worth it. One of my pups went to a police officer and from what i understand he bored them all rigid at work. I know for a fact some people didnt even know his name but they sure knew the new pups name!
Have fun and enjoy the rest of your sickleave, but you wont want to go back will you?
