Get your thinking caps on folks, I need your help.

In a couple of weeks time I'm getting a new addition to my canine family. I'd trawled the 'net for hours and hours, looking for ideas for a name and eventually came up with Isis - the goddess of magic. The reason being that her sire is Merlin and the litter will have 'magic-related' registered names. That was all fine and dandy until the Christmas episode of Downton Abbey was shown and b*gger me, they'd called the replacement dog in the series Isis Rolling Eyes The only saving grace is that although she's a gundog, my puppy isn't a Labrador Shocked

I may well stick with Isis anyway (and ignore any comments about me copying the name from Downton Abbey Evil or Very Mad ) but if any of you can suggest an alternative I'd be very grateful. Please bear in mind that the name has to sound completely different from those of my current dogs.

I would stick with Isis if you like it but the one variation that came to my mind was Iris.

I love Isis. But I also love Downton (sorry)

My favourite girls' names are Anya,Kizzy,Callie,Kira and Mia.

(I have a short list on my computer,ready for my addition when she comes along!!)
