If she doesn't have a temperature and the vet can't find anything, it may well be a lead up to her season. As I mentioned, I noticed no discernable swelling before her season started. She would just sit looking at me whining and if I ignored her she would jump up onto my lap (she had never done that before). She would also go and sit by the back door whining to go out, but when I opened it, she wouldn't go. Same applied when she asked to come back in, open the door and she'd run off. Some days I felt like a yo-yo 
Keep us posted and if you are still not happy, take her back for a second opinion.

This is going to sound a bit bizarre but...... She has been whimpering and crying and barking at the back door ALL day again! I took her out for a quick walk in the gale force winds and she had a wee, came back in went straight to the back door whimpering so I let her out and followed her out and our fence (which you cant see from patio doors where she has taken refuge) was bent backwards at a fantastic angle into next doors garden. Poppy was going beserk running round the garden and barking so I brought her back in and went and told the neighbours.
She started barking and barking again just before so I went out with her and the fence was down and smashed up with the storm, its almost like she has been trying to tell me since last night what was going on in the back garden or what was about to happen in the back garden. I havent heard a thing!
Wonder if she can tell me the lottery numbers for Saturdays draw?
