Have you washed his bedding and his collar? Sometimes they smell and transfer the smell to the dog.

Perhaps his food isn't suiting him or maybe he has an ear infection or full anal glands?

OH is complaining that Coco stinks today, but I can't smell her - maybe I stink of dog too???

What does he smell of? Has he rolled in anything stinky, as a lot of Labs love a good roll in Fox Poo and Dead Things? What are you feeding him? Where is the smell coming from....Ears, bottom, mouth?

As he is 4 months old, is the smell a sort of metallic, blood smell? If so it could be because he is teething.

He just stinks of realy bad dog smell all over cant really pin point
Where on the body its coming from. He eats bakers puppy food and
A bonio biscuit in the evening. He is still on the lead because we live in a
Built up area so it cant be nothing he has rolled in.

You might find its the bakers. I have a boarding dog whos fed bakers and he stinks he has loads of wind too. This is normal for him Shocked
Bakers isnt the best food, its full of junk they dont need.
Try changing him onto a more high quality food. There are lots of suggestions in the food section.

I was going to say the same as Kate, it could be the Bakers. Bakers is full of sugar (amongst other rubbish), which ferments in their guts, causing wind and often smelly and/or greasy skin.

Try switching him to a more natural feed, one with no sugar, colourings and artificial additives in and his general odour and health should improve.
