You poor thing. Both of mine had chickenpox a few weeks ago, one after the other, so apart from walking to school (with one spotty one and one healthy one) I was house bound for ages!
Neither of mine really scratched at their spots, and my son had loads. Millie hardly got any in comparison. I painted calamine lotion on them twice a day with a paintbrush because they thought it was fun, and I put bicarbonate of soda in their baths when they had spots (a handful or so).
I a sooooooo tired this morning. Megan went to sleep eventually at 11.30pm, she woke at 1.30 screaming as she had weed a little and it was stinging so wouldnt let go of the rest on the toilet. I put her in the bath to stop the stinging and also so if she did wee again it wouldnt sting. This worked and she was in the bath for about 30 mins. She went back to sleep for about 3am then up for 7. She is currently fast asleep on the sofa and has been since just gone 9. Im going to get her some PJs on and put her in the buggy then walk to ASDA to get her some Piriton or what ever there own brand is. I dont want to over dress her even though its cold out so she should be cool enough in PJs as they arent tight and will pop a blanket over her.
Poor Harry keep being kicked out of the livingroom as he wants to sit next to her and sniff/paw to make her wake up. He knows somthing is wrong as Megan isnt winding him up and keeps shouting at him when he paws her for attention. Hes been promised a big run in the park when we are back from Asda with his new ball. I feel like im pushing him away.
Well Megan is fighting fit again and has been back at nursery for a week. She didnt itch to much after the 1st day or two, but now Cody has them, he got his 1st spots on Thursday eve and is now covered all over his front, back head and even in his mouth and lips. Hes not a happy lad. Hes not itchy yet but im keeping him on the med and cream to stop it before it starts.
It usually works that way. My boys got it within weeks of each other too. At least it will be out of the way and you shouldn't have to deal with it again. Another 7-10 days and it will all be over with.
I bet you're going stir crazy being restricted in your outings though.
