Laura (Luna Tuck) got me thinking the other day about whether any dogs could be related. I have therefore dug out both Amber and Millie's papers and wonder if indeed either of my girls have some long lost relatives out there?

Millie first:
born on 31.5.2010 at Morpeth, Northumberland, her Kennel club name is Gems High Place
Sire Galrainy Ghost
Dam Marshmallow Pippin
grandparents Pocklea Adder, Rhypker Chic at Galrainy and Countryways Chestnut, Astraglen Sweet Pea
great grandparents Poklea Remus, Pocklea Nettle, Auchacasla Sam of Drakeshead, Rhypyker Phantom, Flashmount Socrates, Raughlin Tilt of Countryways, Craighorn Bracken and Astraglen Allie
there are another two generations listed but this would include too many names
Amber next:
born on 19.12.00 at Malton, Yorkshire, her Kennel club name is Brigantium True
Sire Brigantium Boson
Dam Kenex Gilly Brigantium
grandparents Loughebrook Trooper of Pocklea, Donshide Jenny and Notton Archie, Annsfarm Gay Girl
great grandparents Theoveik Turramurra Teal, Yebrek Goldilocks, Wiltonpark Carnival, Donshide Sherry, Parkcliff Sweep, Kaleidoscope Kerry, Copper Dust of Annsfarm, Black Orchard Lady of Annsfarm

Again for Amber there are another two generations.
I am very green when it comes to heritage as I love both my girls for just being Amber and Millie, however if anybody could assist and identify any of the names I would love to hear and learn. Both do list a number FT CH amongst the names.

Amber was a rescue girl and we did also have Arwen (Brigantium Wendy) who was Amber's neice but sadly she went to the bridge in January (does not seem almost a year now Sad )
Pocklea features in both their family trees but not the same dogs.

Well no wonder Millie was 'my kind of girl' she's got Countryways blood in her and Luna is a Countryways girl! Will see if I can do any digging to find out if a relationship between the 2 of them and get back to you! Laughing

that are Millie's 3xGt and 4x Gt Grandfathers respectively

Luna's Gt Gt Grandad
Ballyellery Adder
is Millie's 4xGt Grandad

S0 I think that Millie is Luna's Gt Gt Aunt (??) via Pocklea Remus
AND Luna is Millie's Gt Gt Aunt via Theoweir Turramurra Teal

I haven't found closer yet...!
There are a couple of Millie's Gts Aunts/Uncles in Luna's tree

I am going to have to sit down and write these down to work them out fully, but Amber has Theoveik Turramurra Teal as her Great Grandfather so hopefully she is related in some small way too. Millie has this one as a Gt Gt Grandfather. I can also see that Ballyellery Adder is a common feature to them both. I know it is going to be harder finding any of Amber's relatives as her family tree is much older.
But never the less our family has just increased to include Seb, Lucan and Luna. Let's see if any more come to light. Amber has Gt Gt Grandparents and Gt Gt Gt Grandparents including Swinbrook, Drakeshead and Sandylands which I think are 'of good character'.

PS my husband thinks I have gone totally crackers as I am so delighted with this info...... to the point that a dog called Scooby Doo has just rang me at home to say he has seen my post and may be related (funny how it sounded so much like my husband pretending to be Scooby Doo) Asshole Very Happy

Think I will definitely have a look at that but it will have to be tomorrow after I have fed the three thousand. The more I look at the names the more I think I have seen them before Shocked
