In 2008 a plea came on LF to help rescue a 5 year old girl that was going to be PTS the next day if she wasn't removed.

Michael and I were able to help and went to get a lovely bouncy choccie girl called Sophie who was headed for rescue. She never made it there as Michaels Aunt and cousin took custody of Soph that very day.

She's made them a very happy family and only recently was diagnosed with a horrible form of cancer (haemangiosarcoma) that sadly took her from her family today. She had been struggling this last week with nose bleeds but had been happily eating and going for walks. Last night she collapsed and was taken to the vets where the decision to let Sophie go was taken.

Run Free Soph, you were a lovely girl who brought a lot of happiness to Agnes and Kirsty these last few years. You will be missed sweetheart.
