Just thought I'd share some photos I took early this morning, from the viewpoint that I regularly walk up to with Kenko, from my cottage.
On the horizon in the first photo you can see the snow covered Monts du Cantal in the Massif Centrale. It is from this view point that I scattered the ashes of my dear Benji. So whenever I walk up there with Kenko,I feel that I'm going to see how he's doing... [img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]
This last photo is looking down towards my humble little cottage....the two huge barns behind my cottage aren't mine!!! Benji has a nice view to my cottage!!![img][/img]

That looks a fantastic place to walk Kenko, he is 1 lucky dog, How old is Kenko, he looks very young and he is very good looking.
You have found a lovely final resting place for Benji too, i realise now the painting is Benji, he too looked perfect.
Are the Labs french bred, (not french bread) They both look like great show specimens to me, do you have the family tree's ?
Take Care and happy new year.
Gary and Toby.
Julian, your views are fantastic, what a great place to be I love it.
You know already, but Kenko has to be the most gorgeous looking choccy I have seen, his expressioins are priceless, he has such a thoughtful little face.
I am about to google just where you live with those mountains in the back ground .
Hiya!!
Benji came from the royal families stock of Labradors.I didn't know this until I received his KC documents!! The Queen herself(!!!) and Princess Anne are two of the illustrious owners,on his KC pedigree papers.I've sort of lowered the tone a bit !!! Benji would only eat the most flippin' expensive food on the market !!!! Just my luck Benji moved down to France with me in 2004.
The little rascal I have now,Kenko, comes from a reputable French show breeder near Sarlat(Elevage du Clos Des Jardes) He's all french, and bi-lingual !!!
But most of the time he decides he doesn't understand a word I'm saying!!!

That's really pleased me that you think Kenko is handsome!! Thank you!! He doesn't look cute all the time though...I'll have to post some photos of him when he's got a lump of poo in his mouth!!!
Anyway, this is him on Christmas day....he was six months old on the 9th of December.
I've had to completely fence off the whole of my garden because he was going across the lane and stuffing his face with figs in September, that had fallen from a tree.I'm dreading when the plums rippen in June!!![img][/img]
