Tucker stepped off the sofa last night with his front leg stuck through the ribbon on my pjs. The very thin ribbon was attached at both ends in a loop and he pulled the loop completely off. He limped immediately and gave me the 'I'm dying' look whilst holding his paw up in the most sorrowful manner for me to make it better Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad (the same way he does when he steps on a spiky stick/bramble/thistle or knocks his knee on something too)

He sadly tells me with his sorrowful look that it REALLY hurts - he can't tell me where exactly but it really hurts. Crying or Very sad I've examined him all over this morning again and it could be his foot area that is bruised - no swelling/hotness, problem when joints or toes are manipulated just a bit of a response when the underneath of his paw is squeezed. I wonder if the ribbon was caught around his forefoot area, pulling his paw back and then ricocheting it forward when the ribbon snapped, giving his paw a harder landing than normal. He has bounced down the stairs without problem, forgot to limp when rushing for a wee and when bustling with Luna for brekkie. He is now sorrowfully snuggling on the sofa with me and Luna with the saddest of looks on his face Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad He lifts his paw slightly when standing looking up at me. Crying or Very sad and looks at me in wonder when I check him over but the hurt stays Crying or Very sad

We're spending this morning resting and then we'll see how the limp is when we head for Luna's hydro (he was going to join her) at lunch time. He would love to visit his favourite vet but at the moment would probably convince her that I'm abusing him so I've told him to rest up and we'll see how it goes for a day or so.

He asks me to ask you all for Mega <go away hurt> vibes and I'm asking for <just be being a drama queen for a bruise/strain> vibes please. Wink

Oh Laura Sad
I reckon Tucker saw your emails yesterday and read the sympathy you were giving Cooper, and he wants in on it.

I hope he does feel better soon. Shame he has to miss out on his swim today Sad

Awww poor Tucker, sounds to me like he`s coming a bit the old soldier although he may have pulled a muscle when his paw was caught in the ribbon.

I`m sure mummy cuddles on the sofa will make things all better and Tucker will be back to his usual self in a day or two, I hope so as its getting very close to Christmas now and you don`t want a holiday vet bill.`

Laura - confess, it was not the ribbon from your PJs it was you trying to turn him into a yorkshire terrier with a bow in his hair.
