Well, a very up and down day yesterday, in which Bamber had me tearing my hair out one minute and over the moon the next!
He had his best clown hat on yesterday at the BAA Tragility Show and interrupted three of his runs to career off and say hello to the judge, or, the very best one... to pick up one of the numbers that had fallen over and parade around the ring with it to the amusement of everyone watching! I could have throttled him! Particularly as he did all the equipment beautifully and they were actually really good runs other than his brief interlude of being a clown! We actually got a 10th and a 13th from these, so would have been right up there if it wasn't for the detours!
However, he obviously decided that he had pushed Mum's patience far enough and in his last round ran beautifully and finished 5th! Our first ever placed rosette! I was thrilled, particularly as it was a Helter Skelter so I wasn't expecting us to stand a chance against the super speedy collies!
He is a bit daft at these indoor shows as he finds the atmosphere very exciting - not surprising as we only train outside. Need to find a way to keep the Bamber Clown in check and let the talented agility dog shine through!

I'm trying not to be too disappointed that we're missing out on the fun!! Hopefully next year Tucks will be running his socks off and having as much fun as Bamber!! (the star version!)
Congrats on your first placed rosette! 
It is great that he is having so much fun - the energy of being indoors does seem to raise their adrenaline more!
The labs will take over the world!!!
I've got some friends on facebook who posted some lovely pics - found you and Bamber on one, have asked if I can copy over to you!
