I posted some pics a few months ago.

Seeing Andrew's lovely pics has motivated me to post an update of my youngster who has just turned 11 months.

Photos (if the link works...) try to show..

the progression from cute pup to gorgeous girl. The basics ... attention, heelwork, steadiness, increasing distance of memory retrieves - with the keenness to fire off along my arm but the steadiness to wait with bum on the floor for the command....then smartly back and delivering head up with a smile Very Happy Introducing direction.. the pic series sit/ run right/ appearing to be roadrunner..... Now trying to do straight lines in bracken and whatever cover I can find. Memories into the wind. Hunting close on command. Going back - increasing the distance. Working on the details.

She is talented. She will be held back by my inexperience. But I will try my best - and we are having fun....

Thanks for reading - any advice welcome......

She's beautiful and just how I like them.

Don't put yourself down Laughing I know where you're coming from cause I feel like that about Skye (who reminds me so much of your girl), then I think "hang on a minute" - and I start to think of all the things we've done together and all the wonderful people we've met - the training, the working tests, the picking up, the stunning scenery, the laughs, how happy she is is - I could go on and on ......I have now come to the conclusion that we are doing a great job Very Happy Ok we may never win anything major, but seeing her enjoy doing the things that she was bred to do is enough Very Happy
