I've taken on my first emergency foster dog, a lovely lab cross called "Rex", aged about 1 year. He's very excitable, a little dominant, but it appears that the poor boy hasn't been exercised or socialised much; kept in a separate room He and Charlie have had a tussle or two, but all in all, get on very well
However, we could do with a name change. He certainly isn't a Rex ... any suggestions? And any advice or tips would be appreciated
It's not a very good photo (Charlie is laid down, "Rex" is sat)
My daughter thinks Toby suits him.

AW that means he can settle in and get used to living a 'normal' life!
Are you a MTR foster?
Excuse my ignorance, but what is a MTR foster?
Basically I put my details on LF and had a call this evening from the labradoodle trust to see if I could foster a dog as an emergency. It's my first time, but no regrets so far I would guess he's more a lab / setter than a labradoodle though, but I'm no expert
Our foster boy and Charlie have torn my garden up tearing around and how I'm going to settle them is beyond me
He is absolutely adorable, just in need of some manners and basic training
