I did mine last week (someone very kindly didn't shut the door properly and it was really bad Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes )

I bought a defrosting spray from Wilkos - complete waste of money - didn't even touch it!)

I went back to the tried and tested hairdryer method. It really is a job I hate!

I have recently seemed to move house so often that defrosting happens when I move house... now I'm settled I guess I'm going to have to pretend I'm moving... eat all the food... turn fridge/freezer off overnight then re-stock! Tis the only method I know! Laughing

Best method for me....I have no freezer! Yay. No nasty defrosting days for me. Not had one for over 5 years. I pop the odd thing in my neighbours (2) freezers and I find I don't hoard stuff now which ends up being thrown away when you defrost.

Sorry John...no help whatsoever. When I had one I also used bowls of boiling water and my trusty fish slice!
