Last night was the first night I had Bella and Shadow on the landing. Stair gate in place with my door wide open. Apart from an initial 60 seconds of whining from Bella I didn't hear another peep out of them until I woke them up at 5:30  (5:30 is my normal get up time   )
I sincerely hope it carries on this way as they had got into a habit of waking me up at 2 or 3 in the morning and then again at 5am.
After a few nights, I will start closing my door more and then eventually have them in the office

I am going to rush and get a baby gate right now! I am sure that if she can hear us and we can calm her then I am sure she would calm down :0)
