Charlie and I went to our usual Tuesday morning dog training class. Liz our trainer told us that Douglas (rough collie), after training class last week went for a walk with his owner Mike in a local park. Douglas was attacked by two boxer dogs. One went for his throat and one went for his stomach. Poor Douglas, his injuries were not survivable Sad I am so shocked to hear this, his owner Mike must be devastated. The incident has been reported but as yet no action has been taken against the owner or the dogs.

There was a Douglas shaped hole in training class today Sad Douglas passed his KCGC Gold award in September.

Night night Douglas sleep tight.

Thats so awful - I can't imagine what his family must be going through. Its quite unusual for Boxers to behave like that - I hope they find the people responsible before another family has to suffer the same heartbreak Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Thats awful Lisa, my heart goes to Douglas` owner, he must be beside himself.

I hope they find the owner of the dogs that did this this to a dog that was defenceless.

That's absolutely terrible and every dog owners nightmare, Douglas' owner must be in pieces.

I sincerely hope that the owner of these dogs is caught and the dogs PTS before this happens to any other dogs in that area, or people.
