Hello Ollie,

Yes, John told me who you were.

We have an eye testing session coming up on the 16th of Feb, so if you wanted you could bring him along and hear the full story on his condition, and what the prognosis is. If you are interested PM me and I'll pass on the details.

Regards, John

Over Christmas, Katherine's father (John Wellings, who apparently knows a few of you on here) suggested searching the breed record supplements for Harry's date of birth. After eliminating some, this produced a list of 42 possible puppies. Now just a case of eliminating 41 more of them - a lot easier said than done, but I like a challenge, hence why I'm continuing the search. Very Happy

Wow - that must have taken some doing Shocked it must have taken you ages.

Hope you are able to find the information you want and that his eyes remain stable

It took about an hour to scan thouh the 1970 litters born in Q3 of 2010, but it was strangely fun to do - I'm a geek.
He could of course not be registered at all, but I've learnt so much about labradors / labrador health in the process of looking, that it's worth the effort just for that.

Well, after lots of searching and eventually sending a letter to his breeder via hearing dogs, we have found out his name to be SpringMeadow Harvest.

Thanks to everyone who helped / gave advice.

Ollie

Hello Ollie

I'm really pleased to hear that the letter to the breeder via Hearing Dogs worked. It certainly would have done when I was in charge Wink Very Happy . John told me that you had given it a try.

I hope you have years of enjoyment from your chap.
