@Paws - thank you very much for the information. To give a clear situation, well this is our first pet and he stays with my parents who don't have much knowledge about these things. unfortunately, I am on a business trip and I came to know about his situation only today. As I am not with him, I don't know the answers you need. It's late here and I will ask vets these questions first thing in the morning and give you answers. My parents have taken every possible step. Calling different vets is all they can do. I am very far from home as of now so I have no choice but to give instructions to my parents/vets on home. Nonetheless, I will get details of all tablets and dosages they have given and inform you asap.
Thanks again.

Posting reply to the questions I am aware of.
| paws wrote: | Right I will be totally honest with you - I think you need to take your pup to the Vet immediately and ask them to do either an endoscopy or an ultrasound and maybe even xrays as well - they need to look and see if there is something stuck in a part of his digestive system - have they not suggested this - I would never leave a dog 8 days with those symptoms I am not sure you can just find something he likes in order to fix this.
When you say he vomits or poops every 10 minutes do you mean every day and every night for the last 8 days/nights? If so I would be very seriously concerned, did the Vet not offer an anti-sickness injection? When he's well is he ok with being handled is it merely that he's not keen on injections as he's feeling poorly and scared - to be honest like Angela if my dog needs and injection he's having it whether he likes it or not I do not get into a discussion with him about it - he's only 6 months can't someone hold him even if this requires a muzzle for everyone's safety including his own, it seems quite strange that a Vet would not do this they are usually used to dogs being scared and lively and usually have vet nurses to help with the holding if the owner can't.
Right so -
Is he drinking? -no. a little water. That's it. that too not too often
What are you feeding/trying to feed him, how and when? -some biscuits (I dont know the brand but parents say it's his fav), pedigree, eggs. Do you have any suggestions? If so, please suggest.
When did he come home to you? - about 3 months ago
Has he been wormed? - Yes.
When did you see the Vet how long into his symptoms how long since? - 8 days. We got the vet on the very first day.
Have the symtoms remained the same or got any better or worse in the 8 days? - getting worse since yesterday.
Did they give you any tablets to give him? - yes. I dont know the names. I will give you details in sometime.
Have you given them in the correct dosage? -I guess not. He is refusing even to open his mouth despite my parent's attempts.
Have you given them at the right times? - same.
Did they take a stool sample? - Will tell you tomorrow.
Did the Vet feel his tummy, look down his throat, check his mouth? - need to ask them
What did the Vet say to do if he did not get better? -Nothing yet. He says he will get better.
I REALLY URGE you to get this pup to a Vet asap - if the others have not covered the points above can you take him to a PDSA or Blue Cross Vet or Vets4Pets if there is one of those near you, independent Vets are fine too if you have one locally that is recommended, where abouts are you one of the LF members can probably suggest someone excellent in your local area.
Please let us know how he is doing. | [B]

Hi, you won't be able to post again unless you pay to subscribe as you've run out of posts.
I've just been googling to see if I can find any vets in your area (knowing nothing of India's geography but just taking the name Pune that you mentioned).
Take a look at this link to see if any of these places might be of help:
http://www.weforanimals.com/animal%20welfare%20organizations/animal-welfare-organizations-25.htm
I was looking under animal welfare type organisations but the Blue Cross, for example, mentions a veterinary hospital:
Blue Cross Society
T4, Florida Estates, Keshav Nager Mundhwa,
Pune- 411036, Maharashtra, India
Phone: (0ffice): 26879184 (Hospital): 65266492
Email: pbcdas@hotmail.com
Website: www.bluecrosssocietypune.org
Activities: Animal shelter, veterinary hospital, animal birth control programme, awareness drives, rehoming of abandoned pets and stray animals, counseling of pet owners.
It really does sound as though your poor dog urgently needs to be at a good veterinary surgery/hospital and given treatment. I hope you can find someone to help.

Well done Angela great idea.
If he won't have his water - can you get honey there - a bit of honey in his water - not too much they must NOT gulp it tiny amounts at a time - sometimes entices them to drink a little.
I assume you can get rice - plain boiled rice again in tiny portions and white fish or chicken - freshly cooked, nothing added at all - boiled or steamed - less than a handful at a time.
