I'm just about not in tears with this thread, but its close. What a great idea Nat.
For Norton (1998 - 2011)
Retired black labrador guide dog, who was Cadbury's first friend when we moved here and such a familiar sight with his waggy tail and determination to hump other dogs heads even when his hips had gone! Sadly missed. x x x
For Charlie (Cavalier King Charles)
Who didn't make it to his 3rd Christmas, despite the determination of his owners to give him the best chance to overcome his health issues. x x x
For Millie,
My gorgeous silver agouti guinea pig who passed unexpectedly in her sleep this autumn. You were a horror, spent an entire night loose in the garden when you escaped your hutch and had the respect of both dogs, your little squeak will be sadly missed. x x x
For Ruby (2010-2011)
Our dear pet lamb, saved from slaughter to be a companion for Rosie at the Churchyard and who was dearly loved by everyone. You were a real sweetie and the shock of your loss hurt us all. x x x
Also remembering Mozart (moggie), Lilliput, Mrs Gulliver, Ace, Cowslip, Blackberry, Pansy, Quincy, Jet, Squeaky, Maisie, and Custard (guinea pigs)
Also my nan, Pauline Rose (1933 - 2005) I still miss you heaps. x x x x
When the Christmas tree came out you weren't here this year to show your excitement and love of the festive period........ there's not another dog on this earth who will ever come close to you

And never forgetting Winston (my first dog - a Beagle 1994 to 2004), along with all our cats Elsa, Smokey, Sam, Kristy1, Kristy2 and Strawberry
____________ Owned by Bella, Shadow & Cats ....
Never forgetting Harry : 18/01/11 - 14/05/11 RIP
This whole thread and the heartfelt tributes has reduced me to a weepy wreck. My little girl Arwen went to the bridge in January, aged 8, very unexpected and sudden. There really is not a day goes by without my thoughts being of her, whether it is sadness or the happy memories I now have. It is however the circle of life and without such a sadness would I not have found Millie. I had no idea that last Christmas would have been her last with us when she was opening her presents with Amber. Run free little girl, I hope you are with Becky too. You will always be my special little girl x x x
