Well - just had to share this with you today.

I don't know about you - but I clean my floors twice per day and have tried all sorts of stuff to keep them clean.

The bears only have access to downstairs, where thankfully, everywhere is laminated - but I do have two off cuts of carpet as runners to at least try and dry their pads off when they come in.

Anyway - I've been umming and arring for weeks now about getting one of those steam mop things. Last week, after much research, I went for it and ordered it and it arrived this morning.

Bearing in mind (as said above) I am CONSTANTLY cleaning my floors - just look at the result!

The bobbly pad is result from cleaning my wooden blinds. These get cleaned one per week anyway - so wasn't like I'd never done them since I installed them. 2 blinds are in the kitchen - so I suppose a lot of that is grease? Tho I dont know what from as I dont fry food and we have an Actifry???? Anyway .......

The triangular pad is for the floors. The floors that I "thought" were clean Shocked WRONG!!!!!!!

I am amazed and extremely impressed! A very worthwhile investment and even better that no chemicals were used - just hot steam.

I feel like a right minger lololololol - but I am ALWAYS cleaning! Just goes to show - this is now what I call REALLY clean!

i love my floor steam cleaner, it was on special at Costco - about £50 and has been a great investment, no nasty chemicals and a lovely clean floor. I use it on our wooden floor and on the amitco (posh lino Very Happy ) its quick and they come up lovely and dry really quick.

I am totally amazed!

I have a friend who knows what I'm like with my floors - making comments like "oh is there 'a' dog hair on the floor again?" when I tell her I'm cleaning again lol.

This really does just go to show huh? Wish I'd done it sooner! Tomorrow - bathroom tiles! Very Happy

Mine came from Thane Direct .... it had the best offer on at the mo - with the many different heads for different things.
Cant wait to see how it does on the oven! Very Happy
Just wish it had come with more than one floor cover - I'll have to order some more.

Fancy getting so excited about cleaning! Laughing Laughing Rolling Eyes Laughing

It was so easy to use - heats up in 3 secs! and dried really quickly too.

They say - in the reviews - if you have laminate - to turn the heat down to medium - then it wont leave so much water behind.

It was brilliant! .... looks so little when you unpack it - and you think this thing cant possibly do what it says on the box! - but it does! Shocked

That white bobbly one in the pic is just to show how white that floor pad was before I used it.

Can you use one of these on real wood floors? My sitting room floor is in a sorry state between dogs coming and going and me mopping it more than I should.

How on earth do you have time to do floors twice a day, and blinds once a week, and manage to live life too? Eeep, I didn't think I was unclean, but maybe I am. Would genuinely be interested in your routine though so I can see if I could do same. I find by time I walk dogs, go to work, lunch/see to dogs, back to work, home at night - dinner, do the dogs, do a few chores - my day is gone. I spend weekends doing what I didn't get done in the week and enjoying my hobbies.

I need a cleaner I think. Cleaning used to be pretty high on my agenda but my standards have slipped Embarassed

These steam cleaner do-dahs do look the biz Very Happy
