Ist one, my friend Mad Jan - in her sixties rang to say 'lets go to *** pub and have a go at billiards'. so off we went. We are both short and fat so reaCHING ACCROSS THE TABLE IS HARD, SO OUT CAME THE LONG STICK THING AND I STRETCHED AND STRETCHED AND MY FEET CAME OFF THE FLOOR AND i SORT OF ROLLED ACROSS THE TABLE. Land lord not happy. (sorry my caps lock is playing up....)
The following week we went in there for a girls night out with others. Jan went to loo and didnt come back. I went to find her and she has got locked in cubicle and had tried to climb over the top and got stuck. After failed attempt by landlord to rescue her and dismantle cubicle, he sent for fire men. To say he wasnt happy is an understatement and he added the billard table to our sins and banned us!
A few months later, Jan had a brain wave. 'Lets go to *** pub, they have those old fashioned bar games'. We had both gone right offf billiards.
we had great fun, until the bar skittles went wrong. I swung the ball and it cracked a poor chap on his head. It made a huge whack and it didnt half bleed. He was furious, ranted and raved. Jan tried to mop it with her sleeve. Threats of Police and whatnot made land lord step in and guess what? WE ARE BANNED. Jans husband then grounded her and we had to sneak out for ages.
We have been banned from lots of places, Art Class, Yoga, Belly dancing, Line Dancing, Even the gym.

I wouldnt worry till you've been banned from them all
You might want to remind the landlord that they are pub GAMES and thats what you were doing, playing.
