Max is on around 500g of RC lab junior plus his fish we do not really do treats but you can garantee he gets something off some one I can't feel his ribs but he is full show bred and a big lad the vet says he was perfect for his build That does sound a lot of poo Max has 3 per day.

Ronnie (not a Lab) is approx. 19kg and fed on Burns, he is 8 months old.

I am currently feeding him 300g of kibble a day, split into two meals - for comparison purposes if he was a mature active adult he would be on around 190g a day according to the packet instructions. He does need the extra food at the moment, but I am expecting to start reducing it in a month or so as he matures - we'll see how he goes. It is difficult to decide on feeding amounts in the transition period between puppy and adult so you'll have to go on the feel and look of him I think.

If you're happy with his food then stick with it, but don't be afraid to change it if you suspect it's not suiting him. They're all different, my friends 11 year old Lab is fed on whatever is cheapest in the supermarket and he's the fittest, healthiest dog of his age I've ever seen and could easily pass for a much younger animal.
