Billy (cocker spaniel) has 2 small lumps, one on his thigh and another on his side... i noticed them soon after both dogs got swarmed by wasps so assumed they were stings but they still haven't gone a month or 2 later so wondering if i need to see the vet about these? Alfie has a fatty lump which i know labs are prone to but are cockers prone to them? they're smaller than a pea ?
thanks

Are they soft and squishy (fatty lumps) or hard? If they are hard, they could be some sort of scar tissue, Lacey.
When I was bitten by a horsefly, it was about a year before the lump totally disappeared and my husband still has a little hard lump on his arm from where he was stung years ago.
I'd keep an eye on them, just to make sure they weren't getting any bigger. Perhaps even measure them, in case they are very slow growing lumps. Then mention them to the vet next time you're in there....or sooner if they change or if you are worried.
I think all dogs can get fatty lumps (Lipomas). My Lurcher had them, my sister's JRTs had them too, so I don't think they are exclusive to certain breeds. They just tend to appear as dogs hit their middle years.
