We have second pick out of four lovely boys the breeder is fantastic I'm sure she'll have loads of advice for us, she's been brilliant throughout the process!! The puppies will be four weeks on Friday.
I am soooo excited, but very nervous too. Its not only our first lab, its our first puppy
Such an exciting time
When we picked our last puppy I wanted a chocolate Lab but there was only one choc boy born in that litter So I wasn't sure what to expect ?
When we got there our little choccy menace came to us! he was the only puppy that would not leave us alone
and then he fell asleep on my knee so decision made! The breeder said he was a good match for our other Lab so no more worrys my Lux soon came home
And he is my boy through an through follows me everywhere no matter how tiered he is!
Good luck it's such a special time

Well. We lost our yellow girl in May and I went to see a litter in June as we had a huge dog shaped hole in our lives. I looked at the 3 week old pups and then felt really strongly that it was too soon. I think looking back I wanted another Honey but that was never going to be possible.
Anyway I lived near to the breeder so I offered to go and help with the pups as it was a large litter. So off I went every so often to help feed and socialise them. One day I'd been giving them all cuddles and I had one of the black boys on my knee and I somehow just knew he was the one - even though I'd told her I wasn't having one!!!
That was Toby! Call it fate... I do and know he was meant to be our pup.

I think it was the snuggling up and washing my ear that swung it for him! Our last lab was very licky and I really like that in a dog - they're like doggy kisses!
Look forward to hearing your news and seeing the pics of the pup who decides you're just the family for him!

When we chose Buddie, we didn't do it until they were 6 weeks. We went to see them at 4 but they were still so tiny and hadn't really developed personalities. So the breeder recommended we wait until 6 weeks. I know I was so disappointed at the time, but when I went back I realised what she meant.
Buddie was the chunky monkey of the gang and the only one who really snuggled in for cuddles. It was so hard though, whichever one you choose
they will be ur little darling and you will love them with an absolute passion.
Look forward to photos of Charlie xx
