Just want to know if I'm allowed to post a non-lab picture as my sig picture. That sounds a simple enough question, but the problem is that I want to use photos of my artwork.I have some beautiful photos of non-lab' artwork. If I don't advertise that I'm an artist is that allowed? Can I say though, that the sig picture is a water-colour for example...I guess that's a bit on the border line advertising wise?

Well I hope you can use pictures of your work because I love looking at them, I love the current sig pic actually. So long as you don't start putting for sale and £ signs in the corners it ought to be ok, nothing wrong with showing off your skills its only like people posting photos they've taken in the photography section IMHO.
As long as it's just a Photo then you wont be infringing any rules, you can have a photo of anything in your Sig pic as long as it's not rude or offensive obviously

I've just been looking on your site, the way you are able to capture the light in some of those pictures is amazing. I particularly like your signature pic (one day when I win the lottery I will commission you to do one for me!) and the barn owl one looks so much like a photo that I can't even imagine it to be a painting.
