Allie is not a Lab, as you may notice(!), although our rehoming team was initially told she was a black Lab sort Shocked Laughing, so I thought that made this relevant enough to share here Smile

Our rehoming volunteers were contacted a little while back about an older dog who had been abandoned. We always use foster homes when possible, but we do use sometimes kennels in emergencies, such as this situation, until we can place a dog into a suitable foster home.

We put an appeal out for a foster home and a lady came forward who has a neighbour's cat visit on a regular basis. Oldies Club arranged for Allie to be cat tested and she did very well and so was moved to the foster home.

Well the foster home is now a permanent home (not a big surprise to anyone I don't think Laughing) and Allie and the partly-resident cat seem to be just about managing to cope with each other Wink ...
