Bungle is a mid sized cross breed - we have been told one parent was collie x labrador and he has the coat and features but goodness knows what the rest is! Linky a couple of posts down if you fancy having a look !

He 9 months old with lots of energy he is very friendly with people and loves everybody he meets but might be a bit boisterous for small children, He has lived happily alongside another dog and shows a keen interest in cats. He knows basic commands and has a reasonable recall when off lead.

sorry rant needed!!!! We have a fantastic gent who does all of our running around (vets, homechecks, transport etc) and all he asks is for his fuel to be paid - he is out for hours every day for us 7 days a week so without him we would be stuck.

2 weeks ago someone wanted a dog taken in, could not do transport etc etc so he did a 70 mile round trip to pick the dog up - waited 2 hours past the meeting time, the woman had her phone turned off so could not get in touch with her.... wasted journey.

Yesterday someone was interested in meeting Bungle so the arrangement was he would come to the kennels, pick him up, meet them halfway for a meet and greet, then follow them to their place for a homecheck and discussion...... he waited an hour, people never showed - the ones who had phoned us, he had rung them back and discussed the dog at great length (he does not claim for phone calls) and made his own arrangements around the time they could make.

Sorry - makes my blood boil that people are so inconsiderate AND that we raise funds to help the dogs but spend a lot of it on fuel for wasted journeys.... (definitely do not begrudge him the fuel money!)

Sadly there are lots of timewasters out there, but then they don't understand how rescue works either, I am sure they think us volunteers are paid for our time
