I have to agree - I'm almost certain that if you change to any other insurance company they will make it clear that they will exclude any problems even remotely connected with the bowel/intestines on the basis of it being a pre-existing condition - even though the condition has been successfully treated.
I once had to take a puppy to the vet a just couple of days after getting him - I had thought that I had plenty of time to get him insured.
It was diag as cystitis and cleared up fine with antitiotics. But when I tried to insure him, they insisted that any condition connected with the urinary tract would be excluded.
Sorry - probably not what you wanted to hear

I wouldn't consider changing insurers now as anything remotely related to her bowel will be excluded on the insurance
