Hello again!

Well Tiber would like to say a huge thank you for all your suggestions! We went to Derwentwater yesterday and he LOVED it!!!

We also had a walk up Aira Force and a wee trip to Windermere - was a great weekend Smile

Found a lovely dog friendly pub called the Middle Ruddings in Braithwaite that served vegan food (one of our party is a vegan) and it was also v tasty!

thanks again

Annie and Tiber

Oh, I missed this thread. Hope your having a great time.

An amazing walk is around "Tarn Hows". Its about 40 minutes from Greystoke.

We love to walk our labs there. Plus you can nip into Chester's cafe (pricey, but worth it) at Skelwith Bridge (you will drive through Skelwith about 10 minutes before the car park) to pile on the calories. There is a National Trust car park just off the A593 about 5 minutes north of Coniston (also on the A593) and the walk up to Tarn Hows through the woods and past Tom Gill waterfall is fantastic.
