Please can you all help support me in raising as much money as possible for ABF!!! We are in desperate need of people to buy this book!!! Not many have been as sold as we would have liked. Im trying to do a big campaign on the publishers behalf to try and get as many different places/people to stock/buy this book!!! Its really important to me and will help sooo many families and personnel! Please buy this book it is only £7.07 on amazon and would make a great xmas present. Please try and spread the buzz about this book and tell all your friends and family you know one of the poets!

As many of you know i am an army wife based out in Germany and my husband is currently serving a tour of afghanistan. Last year i entered a poetry competition to get my poem published in a book of poems based on life in the army today!! Over 250 applicants entered and just 100 got shortlisted and picked,mine was one of them. I attended the book launch in november as it was released for 11.11.11. This book is split into 4 sections looking at the different aspects of army life. When john received the entries he realised the extent to modern day war still has the same emotions and feelings as it did back during WW1 and 2! There are poems from serving soldiers, wives, daughters, sons, parents and retired service personnel.They cover war from the world wars right through all the conflicts to afghanistan today.
The success off the book meant that a further 3000 copies have been printed. We really want this book to do well.
It only costs £6.80 on amazon and all the authors royalties go to the ABF (Army benevolent Fund).
