We live in Barton, inbetween (dirty) Burton and Fradley. We're lucky enough to be 10 min walk from green fields and Dunstall estate, as well as having Barton Marina 3 min walk away too.
We have just got Stella (14.5 weeks old) and Eddie, the Blonde ASBO, aged 3yrs : )
I love this forum - I reckon you will too very soon : )

I know Barton - we used to frequent the Top Bell when it was a music pub, long before it became an Indain restaurant. And I've taken my grand-daughter for the occasional ice-cream sundae at Barton Marina!
Hi and welcome from me and Ted,your two are absolutely gorgeous. We too would like to offer a home to a rescue when the time is right and i love the pic of them together in st ives, hooray for cornwall xx
Just noticed your original introduction, which i missed earlier.
Both your dogs are gorgeous and well done for rescuing Billy.
I would put my life on it that Billy and my Toby are closely related, although it sounds like as he was rescued, you probably won't have any idea.
Toby was born in the area, his dad is Suttonpark Manifesto, he also has a Vacuum cleaner fetish.
Amazing that such a lovely lab like Billy should need to be rescued, but their loss, is your gain.
Take Care.
Gary and Toby.
Thanks Gary - unfortunately I have no idea about Billy's heritage! Funny that Toby's dad is Suttonpark Manifesto. We walk in Sutton Park 4 or 5 days a week.
The only thing I know about Billy is that he was the last in the litter (I got the impression from an amateur breeder) and his previous owners were persuaded to give him a home (the breeder was a friend) but they never really wanted him and gave him up to a new home when he was 11 months old.
I wish we'd had him from a pup then maybe he'd be a more confident less needy character. We love him though!!!
My daughter lives in Nottingham. Hempshill Vale near to Bullwell.
Nice to make your acquaitance!!

Sue - With Megan and Billy too!

I was seconds away from posting "Magimoo where are you"
My sister (who i sadly lost a few months back aged 54 to a brain tumour) lived on Stafford court, Hemphill Vale.
I live south Notts. Cotgrave.
I know a lot of labs on here are related 1 way or another.
Your Billy does look very like Toby and with the location, they have to be relatives.
He looks like Toby's Uncle Billy to me.
Gary and Toby.
Toby was 13 months old yesterday.
He is a lovely dog, not the best behaved, always up to no good, looks for trouble type of Lab, but you can't help but love him.
